Well it is almost time to go back to school and I haven't even blogged once about the summer! Its just gonna have to go into one long post! I have noticed that I don't get on the computer as much since we got our new iphones they can do almost everything the computer can!
Hmmm..... where to start!
We love the beach at Manzanita! It looks so great from the cliff, has great weather, and not too many people! We always come here a few times in the summer, we usually lay out a blanket and our cool traveling table, have a picnic and Aaron takes a nap! This was our first trip of the summer and I got VERY sunburned but we had a great time! My mother-in-law, Marva, drove all the way from Illinois to spend some time with us this summer! She got to see some of her family and mine along the way. She stayed with Mike and Natalie for an evening and loved seeing the twins and Josh, Kate and Nate then she picked up my mom, they took a side trip to Yellowstone and drove the rest of the way here together! While she was here we went to the Japanese Garden and she was able to stay on the beach (Manzanita of course) for a week! How fun! It was great to see her and spend time together!
Next we went camping with some great friends in the Bend area at La Pine State Park, right on the Deschuttes river. We had so much fun laughing, floating down the river, playing games and relaxing! The boys even got to go to Bend to play some golf on a great course! I'm already excited for next years trip!
Then we drove to Northern Idaho (Sandpoint) for my cousin Mitch's wedding. It was about a 7 hour drive, shorter than driving to my parents house! Being from Idaho, I am ashamed to say that we were a little worried about the area's bad reputation for white supremacists but we didn't have any bad experiences. We had a great trip. The people were nice, the scenery was awesome, the wedding was beautiful and it was so good to see my parents! We took a side trip to Canada since it was only 30 minutes away! We got lost but it was fun and scenic. I even tried sushi for the first time and liked it! I have eaten it 5 times since returning from this trip!

My sister Keri came to visit for her birthday and we had a blast! It was a whirlwind weekend and you can bet that we packed in the fun! We went hiking near Multanomah Falls, ate dinner with my aunt Rachel and Uncle Jack, went shopping, went out to dinner, saw "Julie and Julia", went to the beach and she got a great hair cut! It was so good to see her! We always have a lot of fun together! I am so glad to have a sister to talk to and laugh with! Check out the new doo!

What a beautiful wedding, the scenery was gorgeous! I envy you you sister; I only have one brother. Glad you got to do such fun things this summer!
It sounded like you had a fun summer. I think your family is so fun. You bring a smile to my face. Keri's do looks great. Glad you had a fun summer; good luck with school.
