SNOW!!!!!

It snowed ALL day in Beaverton Oregon! That never happens here! I am keeping my fingers crossed that school will be cancelled tomorrow! It REALLY looks like Christmas now!

I spent the day wrapping presents and cooking warm food. I made a great chicken soup, muffins for school and two kinds of cookies! I am starting to loose my Idaho gene because I was scared to drive in the snow, I was afraid I would slide out of my driveway and hit one of my neighbors cars. Aaron had a slippery drive home from work, but I was glad to see he stopped to buy a shovel! New homeowners never have the supplies they need! oops! We played in the snow for a little bit, but we decided that 25 degrees was too cold and I don't have a winter coat!

***No husbands were injured in this activity. ( Notice the lack of a bamboo stick)***

I have always LOVED the snow! Every year I always run around the house and look out all the windows to make sure I can see the best view of the snow! It seems almost magical to me, especially the first snow. I am much more appreciative of snow now since I don't see very much of it in Portland! It looks so calming and peaceful! At least that is how I feel after the child like excitement of seeing it!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, your snow
pictures! How fun that you got
that much snow in O R E G O N.
I'm hoping we'll get to see some rare Texas snow this year too.
So, who won the snowball fight?

p.s. Your hat looks really cute
on you. Keri

Your snow is wonderful! You have a lot more than we do in Utah right now. I have to agree with you that something about snow is almost magical. I enjoyed your pictures of you guys playing in the snow.
