Holiday Decorating

We have decided that we really need a new camera, OR we should stop doing important "memorable" activities at night! Every time we take a picture of something cool we are doing it is at night and the picture sucks! But I guess that is a funny quirk about us! Examples include Aaron working on the patio, me decorating the house for Halloween and finally the two of us finishing the Christmas lights on our BIG tree in the front yard!

Tools: a ladder, a bamboo stick, a husband, some Christmas lights, and a really big tree. I am sure you are already laughing at the thought of us working in the dark and drizzling rain with our "tools". We were doing well until we got higher up in the tree. My problem solving skills are a lot like my moms, just whack it around a little until it does what you want it to do! That strategy was working for a while but when we were almost finished I couldn't get the lights untangled and then I was whacking the stick around and the next thing you know it came loose and I accidentally hit Aaron on top of the head with my bamboo stick! :o) I apologized a billion times and then got off my ladder and showed Aaron (and I guess the neighbors too) my mad karate skills that I learned from watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a kid! I am SURE he was TOTALLY impressed, especially after having felt those mad skills square on his head! OOPS! Anyway here is another bad "night vision" picture of our Holiday decorations!

Merry Christmas!

Jamie,You make me laugh out loud
I love your stories and I wish
I could have been there to see
your ninja moves....imagining
them is fun too. Your lights
look pretty even in the dark!
Love you. Keri
