Getting Ready for Halloween!

We are really enjoying fall! Aaron and I went hiking in the Columbia Gorge in the Bridal Veil Falls area last weekend! It was beautiful but I was a little disappointed that the leaves were not as colorful as we expected! After our hike we had a picnic at Multanomah Falls, with everyone else in the Portland Metro Area, we could not believe how many people were there! Then we stopped and bought pumpkins to carve. Aaron worked on our new patio while I carved the pumpkins and we felt like we had a very FALLISH weekend! We are so excited to finally have a house and kids to come trick-or-treating on Halloween! I put lights up in the front walk way with the pumpkins I carved. I think it looks great, especially with the yellow leaves in the yard!

Our patio is looking really good too! I cannot believe how fast Aaron did it! There are still a lot of finishing touched to put on it but I am REALLY excited to put a chiminea on it and enjoy lots of outdoor evenings! Here is what the process looked like!! Believe me it was A LOT of bricks!

Jamie and Aaron, I love your blog!
It is fun to see your pictures
and hear what you've been up to.
The finished product on your
patio looks great. When I come
to visit we'll have to roast some
smores or something. love you both
Happy Halloween.
